About
Students will assist low-income clients to obtain social security disability benefits by representing the clients at administrative law hearings. Students will represent clients in groups of two, handling all aspects of the representation such as interviewing, discovery, brief writing, and conducting the hearing. Students will also attend seminar meetings twice a week for the first half of the semester to learn the law governing social security disability benefits and administrative procedure, to discuss issues of professionalism, and to practice lawyering skills for their clinic fieldwork.
