A course designed to emphasize the roles of the dental operator and dental assistant in four-handed dentistry. Didactic content and pre-clinical activities include basic asepsis procedures, identification and utilization of instruments and equipment, positioning of the dental team and patient, instrument transfer, chairside assisting, oral evacuation, and proper dental ergonomics.
