About
A Bachelor of Arts in African American and African Diaspora Studies will prepare you for fields such as social services, minority group relations, and community development and is ideal for undergraduate students interested in pursuing graduate study in humanities and social sciences.
This degree has two sequences -- Human Services and Community Development -- and offers a concentration in Latino Studies.
The curriculum is designed to acquaint you with unique worldviews, cultures, and historical experiences of Black, Latino, and minority groups.
If you are interested, the Department of Minority Studies also offers interdepartmental majors in communications and English along with a postbaccalaureate certificate in Community Development and Urban Affairs.
