Provides elementary instruction in the Swahili language, as well as an introduction to Swahili culture. Integrates the five Cs of the National Foreign Language Standards: Communication, Cultures, Connections, Comparisons, and Communities. Focuses on developing students' competency in listening, speaking, reading, and writing.
