This course introduces students to the regulation of accounting public policy, including financial reporting, public company audits, corporate governance, and income taxation. The course culminates with a visit to Washington D.C., where students meet with regulatory agencies such as the SEC, PCAOB, IRS, AICPA, Congressional Budget Office, etc.
