BUS-F 528: FIXED INCOME INVESTMENTS (1 - 6 credit)

About

Explores the broad class of fixed income securities, the determinants of risk and pricing, the theories of the term structure, and the management of portfolios of fixed income securities. Theoretical material will be developed in the context of the market for Treasury securities. The institutional foundations of corporate bond, municipal bond and mortgaged backed securities markets, as well as how the concepts are adapted to the valuation and management of these more complex securities are analyzed.
