International Financial Markets is meant to provide an introduction to the financial environment of globalyy operating companies and financial institutions. This course covers the international interaction of financial markets, the trading environment and basic financial techniques from an integrated analytical and decision making perspective by extending financial concepts and instruments such as forwards, swaps, fixed income analysis, arbitrage, etc. to their international analogs. Topics include: global currency and money market segments, arbitrage techniques, international fixed income and equity markets, currency and cross-currency-interest rate swaps, examples drawn from global treasury and liquidity management applications.
