BUS-I 530: VALUATION AND CAPITAL INVESTMENTS (1 - 6 credit)

About

Managers try to enhance shareholder value by addressing key finance decisions. Managers and investors have differential information. Investors read intent from management decisions and managers create a decision structure consistent with investors' valuation. This course investigates these impacts on capital structure, dividends, share repurchases, and managerial incentives. A capital investment process is developed to assess economic value of investments under risk, and with real options characteristics.
