A comprehensive analysis of the total enterprise from the general manager's perspective. It provides an exposure to the fundamental concepts and models involved in the determination of a firm's strategic direction at both the corporate and business levels. In addition, it focuses on the management of the strategic process by integrating material from the functional area courses. Students will be provided with the skills necessary to read changes in the environment, anticipate competitive forces in the environment, and develop strategies to take advantage of those forces.
