BUS-S 544: EXECUTIVE LEADERSHIP OF IT STRATEGY (1.5 credits)

About

This course equips students to understand the substantive challenges in designing an effective IT organization and technology architecture. It explicitly addresses: (2) the processes for planning IT architecture in large, international organizations; (b) designing effective governance to link the IT organization to corporate structure; (c) funding issues for IT projects; (d) linking IT strategy to business strategy; and (e) effective leadership behavior for a Chief Information Officer on a top management team.
