The purpose of this course is to focus attention on the special problems of companies facing a crisis situation. In the beginning part of the course, attention is given to identify early warning signals and taking action to prevent reaching the crisis stage. The majority of the course is focused on managing the crisis, possible bankruptcy and workout. This is followed by attention to the recovery stage including both marketing and operations along with a concern for returning the company to leadership.
