This course introduces the history of the Central Eurasian heartland of the Old World, which dominated Eurasia until Modern times. It focuses on the unique socio-political-religious-economic structure of the major nations and their achievements in intellectual and artistic fields, from the Proto-Indo-Europeans to the present.
