Introduces the Pashto language of Afghanistan. By practicing listening, speaking, reading, and writing, students are familiarized with the alphabet and sound system, basic structures and ordinary usage. By the end of the semester, the student will have mastered simple sentences and can ask and answer simple questions on familiar topics.
