Basic elements of chemical biology with a chemistry-centered focus. This course will cover peptide synthesis and ligation methods, oligonucleotide synthesis, diversity oriented synthesis and combinatorial libraries, bioorthogonal reactions, high-throughput screening methods and their use in drug discovery, and secondary metabolism.
