Introduces students to Nano scale and molecular materials. First provides an overview of methods for bottom-up synthesis and assembly of nanostructures, then offers case studies from the recent literature, including nanoparticles, biological applications, molecular electronics and machines, and self-assembly in artificial and biological systems.
