Heterocycles are prevalent across all realms of chemistry, from the most complex bioactive natural products to seemingly simple stock compounds for large-scale commercial applications. This course will focus on the properties of heterocycles and methods for functionalization of heterocycles using highly applicable examples alongside specialized ones.
