The purpose of this course is to provide graduate students with the opportunity to explore and discuss cutting-edge research on Spanish as a heritage language. It covers heritage speaker characteristics, diverse methodologies, and various subfields (sociolinguistics, pragmatics, morphosyntax, phonetics and phonology and acquisition and maintenance).
