Topics may explore themes (madness, history of reading practices), theoretical approaches (historiographical accounts, animal studies), questions of genre (the picaresque, the entremés) major works (Don Quijote), authors (María de Zayas). Course may be repeated twice for up to 6 credits when topic varies.
