LAW-B 507: PUBLIC SPEAKING (1 credit)

About

This course will provide a standard template for public speeches and ask the students to follow it closely unless they have extensive experience in speaking. Each in-class exercise and each final speech will be followed by critiques offered by fellow students and the instructor. Giving and receiving constructive critique is a core element of the course. The course will cover the use of PowerPoint in public speaking, the mechanics of public speaking, including the use of audio-visual equipment, and how to book, prepare, and deliver speeches.
