LAW-B 537: NONPROFIT LEGAL CLINIC (3 credits)

About

The Indiana University Nonprofit Legal Clinic, one-semester transactional (non-litigation) legal clinic offered to second and third year students, (1) weds student professional skills development to this growing and highly visible substantive area of the law, (2) introduces students to the panoply of issues with which general counsels to organizations must be familiar, and (3) allows students to experience work with an organizational client. Students are selected on the basis of past coursework, including grades, as well as a state of interest and interview with the Clinic Director. The clinic will be "front loaded" on coursework the first six weeks of the semester, with clinical work executed by students in teams for the remaining portion of the semester.
