The study of legal issues relating to sports, including: antitrust; collective bargaining; the regulation of amateur athletics by various organizations such as the NCAA; regulation through constitutional provisions; contract law; or the law of private organizations; sex and race discrimination; legal status of the scholarship athlete; liability for injuries.
