Students will deepen their knowledge of Middle Egyptian, the language of Ancient Egypt as written and spoken from around 2000 - 1300 BCE. Students will complete a basic introduction to Middle Egyptian grammar, then go on to read extensively in the most important Middle Egyptian prose literature.
