Students enrolled in this course will survey production techniques for multiple genres and styles in popular music by analyzing existing production examples. Analysis of musical arrangement, instrumentation, and sound design will be joined with analysis of audio recording, mixing, and mastering. Focus will be placed on listening instruction and practice.
