Pediatric Optometry is designed to prepare students to work in the Binocular Vision and Pediatrics Clinic. The course has three primary goals (i) to prepare students to diagnose and evaluate pediatric patients, including children with strabismus and amblyopia (ii) to make students comfortable with the management of patients with special needs (iii) to prepare students to make appropriate referrals and reports to other professions.
