Provides information about the counseling preview of audiologists and speech pathologists. Topics such as theories of counseling, lifespan issues, emotional responses to communication disorders. Family dynamics, support groups and multicultural issues will be presented. Students will learn basic counseling techniques and the application of these techniques for specific disorders.
