The second of four courses introducing concepts from the history and theory of architecture, urbanism, and art. Through lectures, discussions, site visits, assigned reading, research projects, and analytical drawings, students learn about significant case studies, historical eras and movements, philosophical frameworks, and cultural and social contexts for art and design.
