SPEA-E 546: STREAM ECOLOGY (3 credits)

About

Advanced limnology course that explores patterns and processes characterizing stream ecosystems. Takes a holistic approach that includes: Physical, chemical and biological stream characteristics; watershed patterns; stream processes (trophic dynamics, colonization and dispersal, community dynamics, responses to change). A 4-hour weekly lab and group project develop necessary analytical skills.
