SPEA-E 564: ORGANIC POLLUTANTS:ENVIRONMENTAL CHEMISTRY AND FATE (3 credits)

Provides students with both a quantitative and intuitive understanding of the relationship between chemical structure, environmental properties, and the behavior of organic contaminants in the environment, particularly aquatic environments. Physical/chemical properties of organic chemicals, fate determining processes, and modeling concepts will be examined in detail.
