SPEA-R 625: ENVIRONMENTAL ECONOMICS AND POLICY (3 credits)

About

The course develops the microeconomics-based environmental policy analysis paradigm, and uses the paradigm to evaluate the efficiency of current environmental regulations. The course also explores the incentive issues associated with design of international environmental agreements, and develops techniques (contingent valuation, hedonic pricing, travel cost method) for valuing environmental resources.
