A course designed to acquaint the student with diagnosis and treatment of alcohol and drug abusing clients. Will include counseling styles and methods in facilitating change, self-help methods, treatment facilities, and outcomes of effective treatment programs. Special types will include the poly-addicted client, women, adolescents, and the family.
