ANES-B 523: FOUNDATIONS OF ANESTHESIA PRACTICE III (4 credits)

About

Principles involved in the formulation of anesthetic plans based upon data obtained during the preoperative evaluation. Includes the formulation of different anesthetic plans and techniques as related to specific surgical procedures and pathophysiology. Additionally, a more detailed concentration on pre-anesthetic evaluation will include assessment of risk, planning and implementation of an appropriate anesthetic history and physical exam, and consideration of various co-morbidities and patient populations that may alter anesthesia care.
