The aim of this course is to understand the underlying mechanisms that contribute to immune system dysfunction. We will discuss the genetic defects in the immune system, immune complex diseases, immune mediated hypersensitivity reactions and autoimmune diseases. This course covers fundamentals as well as current topics in the field of immunology.
