EMER-E 215: ESSENTIALS OF PHARMACOLOGY AND EKG (6 credits)

About

Course introduces the principles and procedures necessary for the paramedic properly administer medications in the prehospital environment. Topics include pharmacokinetics, pharmacodynamics, identification of medications and drug dose calculations. Students will have the opportunity to practice medication administration and vascular access techniques. General principles of pathophysiology will also be presented.
