This course introduces electrophysiology and electrocardiography and various cardiovascular emergencies. Topics include: ECG interpretation, recognition of cardiac dysrhythmias, management of cardiovascular emergencies. Students will have the opportunity to practice ACLS and PALS skills, including pharmacologic intervention and electrical therapy during simulations.
