Students will learn techniques in the analysis of forensic microscopic evidence. Topics include the use of common forensic microscopes such as compound microscopy, stereomicroscopy, and polarizing light microscopy. Students will also prepare and examine multiple types of trace evidence such as impressions, glass, hairs, biological materials, and fibers.
