HER-G 205: MONOTYPE/WOODCUT (3 credits)

About

Beginning course in monotype and woodcut. Monotype is a painterly, direct process that creates one-of-a-kind prints. Woodcut focuses on generating an image through hand or digital carving techniques into a matrix, such as linoleum or wood. Students explore their artistic voices while taught the practice and principles of both processes.
