This course introduces students to skills that allow them to translate their 2-dimensional paper creations into 3-dimensional interactive mechanical and kinetic forms: such as pop-ups, pull-tabs, flaps, and wheels. The historical, contemporary and conceptual applications of paper engineering are also covered.
