HER-V 503: INDEPENDENT STUDY: DESIGN THINKING (1 - 6 credit)

About

This course is intended for non-Visual Communication Design graduate students who are interested in learning how design thinking and design processes can be used as a catalyst for change in their discipline and profession. The course exposes students to many facets of design thinking and provides them with an interdisciplinary perspective about design and people centered innovation. The course consists of readings, lectures, and experiential learning. Students will have the opportunity to undertake a specific and individualized independent case study that integrates their disciplinary interest with theories and methods of Design Thinking.
