LAW-D 742: COMPARATIVE COMPETITION LAW (2 - 3 credits)

About

After introducing the economic rationale for antitrust or competition law and enforcement, the course analyses the rules and their interpretation in the US and the EU with regard to the three major pillars of antitrust law: cartels/collusion, abuse of dominant position/monopolization,and merger control. Some discussion of the laws of other countries will be added for illustrative purposes or in response to student interest.
