LAW-N 601: ELECTION LAW (2 - 3 credits)

Election Law introduces students to legal issues related to the very core of democracy - the right to vote. The course will touch upon a number of timely issues including: one person, one vote; the role of race and partisanship in redistricting; campaign finance; and "ballot access" issues such as voter ID, felon disfranchisement, and the recently enacted Help America Vote Act.
