This course focuses on aspects of criminal law relating to nonviolent crime, typically committed by means of deception for financial gain under color of legitimate activity. Subjects include the cases of corporate and individual criminal liability, principles of federal prosecution, prosecutorial discretion and the investigation of white collar crimes.
