LAW-N 758: LEGAL ASPECTS OF GOVERNMENT FINANCE (2 credits)

About

This course will focus on the law that governs financing public improvements (highways, prisons, sports facilities, etc.) providing public benefits (health care, public employee pensions, student financial aid, etc.) and other government finance activities. Student swill consider general legal principles and regulatory law applicable to state and local government powers to tax, borrow, manage debt, and spend. The course will also address more advanced topics of government finance.
