Basic concepts of utility regulation as well as an explanation of more sophisticated regulatory problems. E.g. restriction of entry; market requirements; mergers and market structures; ratemaking; practices and procedures, etc. While addressing both federal and state jurisdictions there will be an emphasis on utility regulation as it has developed in Indiana. Current problems will be carefully examined.
