The course integrates academic elements and on-site work objectives in a 360-hour experience in an approved community health setting. The internship provides students with observation and experience in a minimum of four of the responsibility areas outlined in the national Responsibilities and Competencies for Entry-Level Health Education/Promotion Specialists (NCHEC).
