PHST-P 723: CULTIVATING GENEROUS SOCIETIES (3 credits)

This course examines philanthropy from a global and interdisciplinary perspective. Learners start with distinguishing the evolutionary and cultural roots of and motivations for philanthropy. Throughout the course, learners examine their own cultural beliefs and values related to philanthropy, and compare and contrast these with those who identify with different cultures.
