About
This graduate course uses a translational approach to integrate foundational neuroanatomy and clinical neuroscience in understanding the role of physical therapy within the interdisciplinary neurologic rehabilitation team and the functional implications of neurologic health conditions. Emphasis will be placed on neurologic health conditions that contribute to deficits in motor control and motor learning. Class activities will range from wet lab and atlas functional anatomy to traditional lecture to team-based exploration of relevant clinical cases. DPT students will complete class activities for P540 with OTD students enrolled in T675 to promote interdisciplinary collaboration.
