An introduction to the physical disciplines of nuclear medicine. Lectures and laboratory exercises on radiation physics; atomic and nuclear structure, radioactive decay, radionuclide production, interaction of radiation with matter, and internal dosimetry. Weekly recitation sessions expand on lecture/laboratory content (application of concepts to clinical + math lab).
