TESM-T 534: CULTURAL TOURISM MANAGEMENT (3 credits)

About

The course investigates the socio-cultural complexities of heritage tourism, including values, subcultures. Issues and trends in the management of land/submerged cultural resources and other destinations/events are identified to create more engaging experiences and improve tourist-host relationships. More contemporary facets of cultural tourism such as globalization, new media interactivity and urban regeneration through urban trails, etc. are also investigated.
