This course will focus primarily on data mining for prediction, classification, and clustering tasks for business, including both supervised and unsupervised learning models. Possible course topics include: predictive performance, linear regression, nearest neighbor estimation, naïve Bayes classifier, classification and regression trees, logistic regression, neural nets, cluster analysis, and machine learning.
