SOC-S 375: ISSUES IN HUMAN AND SOCIAL SERVICE POLICY (3 credits)

About

This course will help prepare students to work in human and social service agencies by examining sociological and human/social service literature regarding the oversight, management, and day to day practices encountered. Student will examine theories in social sciences relevant to human services delivery. Students will learn about the ethical and professional issues of workers in human/social service agencies with clients from diverse populations. Students will examine sociological concepts, theories, and methods as they apply to the management, practice, and evaluation of human/social service agencies.
